Liquid or Air Is Leaking From the Tank Into the Pump Cylinder (190804 / 190805)

What causes this: The check valve on the bottom of the pump cylinder is unable to seal properly due to dirt, residue, or damage.

How to fix it:

1. Remove the pump assembly from the tank.
2. Locate the check valve on the bottom of the pump cylinder.
3. Examine the check valve for dirt, residue, or visible damage.
4. If dirty, clean the check valve thoroughly and reinstall.
5. If damaged, replace the check valve.
6. Reassemble the pump and test for leaks.
