Applies to: DEWALT 4 Gallon Lithium-ion Powered Backpack Sprayer (Model DXSP190681)
What causes this: The battery may not be installed correctly, not charged, damaged, overheated, or the pump may have automatically shut off because the hose is already pressurized.
How to fix it:
- Confirm the battery is installed correctly. See Installing the Battery.
- Charge the battery. See Charging the Battery.
- Visually inspect the battery for damage. Replace it if damaged. If it overheated, allow it to cool before reinstalling.
- Squeeze the shut-off lever to see if the sprayer starts and the pump turns on (the pump shuts off automatically when the hose is pressurized).
