How to Find Your Sprayer's Instruction Manual

Applies to: All FGI-manufactured sprayers (CRAFTSMAN, DEWALT, Smith, HDX, Lesco, Universal, Field King, and white-label brands)

What causes this: Customers frequently misplace the printed manual that came with their sprayer or buy a used unit that did not include one. Every FGI sprayer has a digital manual available, but finding the right one starts with identifying your exact model.

How to fix it:

1. Locate your sprayer's model number first. The model number is printed on a sticker on the tank, the pump body, or the bottom of the unit. Common formats: DXSP190681 (DEWALT), CMXCAFG190640 (CRAFTSMAN), 190567 (Smith), 190723 (Lesco).
2. Note the document number if you can find it. Many manuals have a small document number printed on the back cover (example: 186084-02). This is the fastest way to identify the exact manual revision.
3. Email info@thefgi.com with your sprayer model number. Subject line: 'Manual Request - [your model number]'. Our team will send you the PDF that matches your unit.
4. Or call us at 1-800-311-9903 and tell us your model number. We can email the manual or walk you through the section you need.
5. If you do not have a model number (label worn off, sticker missing), send a photo of the sprayer to info@thefgi.com. We can usually identify the model from a photo and send you the correct manual.
6. For licensed brand sprayers (DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, Smith, Lesco), the manual is also available on the brand's official website under product documentation.
