What Is the Warranty on My DEWALT Sprayer?

What causes this: DEWALT sprayers are manufactured under license by The Fountainhead Group, Inc., so the sprayer warranty is an FGI warranty. The sprayer and the DEWALT battery pack are covered separately and for different lengths of time.

How to fix it:

1. The sprayer: three (3) years from the date of purchase. FGI warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and conditions.
2. DEWALT battery packs: two (2) years free service on DC9071, DC9091, DC9096, DC9182, DC9280, DC9360, DCB120, DCB127, DCB201, DCB203BT, DCB207, and DCB361.
3. DEWALT battery packs: three (3) years free service on DCB200, DCB203, DCB204, DCB204BT, DCB205, DCB205BT, DCB206, DCB230, DCB606, DCB609, and DCB612. Battery warranty is void if the pack has been tampered with.
4. To start a claim, call 1-800-311-9903 or email info@thefgi.com. FGI will repair or replace any part found to be defective upon examination.
5. Have your proof of purchase ready. FGI may require the defective product to be returned with proof of purchase to establish the claim, and shipping costs are paid by the customer.
6. You can register your product at www.dewalt.com/register.

What the warranty does not cover: damage or defects from transportation, storage, maintenance, improper use, negligence, accident, normal wear, alterations, or any use not in accordance with the instruction manual. Wearable parts are not covered. Repairing or replacing the product does not extend the warranty period.
