What Photos to Send When You Need Help with Your Sprayer

Applies to: Any customer who has been asked by FGI customer service to send photos, or any customer who wants to diagnose a sprayer issue faster

What causes this: Photos let our customer service team diagnose your sprayer issue without you having to ship it back or describe it perfectly in writing. The right photos can cut diagnosis time from days to minutes, get warranty claims approved faster, and ensure we send you the correct replacement part. The wrong photos waste everyone's time.

How to fix it:

1. Photo 1: The model number label. This is usually a sticker on the tank, the pump body, or the bottom of the unit. The model number looks like DXSP190681, CMXCAFG190640, or 190567. Get close enough that the numbers are readable.
2. Photo 2: The broken or failing part. If a hose is cracked, show the crack. If a nozzle is missing, show the wand tip. If a tank is leaking, show the wet area while the unit is pressurized. If a battery will not charge, show the charger with its LED indicator status.
3. Photo 3: The overall sprayer from a few feet back. This helps us confirm we are looking at the right product and see any obvious damage.
4. If the issue is the battery or charger, also photograph the indicator light status (red, green, blinking, alternating, or off).
5. Email all photos to info@thefgi.com with subject line 'Sprayer Issue - [your model number]'. Include a short note about what is happening (1-3 sentences is enough).

7. Photos should be well-lit and in focus. A quick phone photo in daylight is usually all we need. No need for professional shots.
