Pump Does Not Fully Prime (CMXCAFG190682)

What causes this: The liquid level may be low, the pump may have run dry, there may be chemical residue or build-up in the tank or pump, or the in-tank filter may be improperly installed, missing, or damaged.

How to fix it:

1. Check the liquid level in the tank. Add liquid if it is low. See the Filling the Sprayer section of the manual.
2. If the pump was run dry (without liquid) before the tank was refilled, ensure the sprayer is OFF and squeeze the shut-off lever until all pressure is relieved.
3. Clean the sprayer. If necessary, repeat with warm water and a mild detergent mixture. Allow the mixture to stay in the pump for up to 1 hour prior to rinsing. Replace the pump if necessary. See the Cleaning section of the manual.
4. Ensure the in-tank filter is properly installed and not damaged. Clean the sprayer. If necessary, repeat with warm water and a mild detergent mixture. Allow the mixture to stay in the pump for up to 1 hour prior to rinsing. Replace the pump if necessary.
