Power Wand Sprayer Only Sprays at Low Pressure

Modified on Tue, 15 Sep at 6:19 AM

Applies to: 2 Gallon Lithium-ion Power Wand Tank Sprayer. The same sprayer is sold as CRAFTSMAN (CMXCAFG190788), Scotts (190803), and Roundup (190789).

What causes this: The nozzle may be clogged, the power wand sprayer may be internally clogged, or the hose may not be fully seated.

How to fix it:

  1. Clean the nozzle. See Nozzle Maintenance.
  2. Disconnect and reconnect both ends of the hose. See Attaching the Hose Assembly to the Tank and Attaching the Hose Assembly to the Power Wand Sprayer.
  3. If cleaning the nozzle and reseating the hose does not restore pressure, the power wand sprayer is clogged internally. Replace the power wand sprayer.
