Power Wand Sprayer Does Not Fully Prime

Applies to: 2 Gallon Lithium-ion Power Wand Tank Sprayer. The same sprayer is sold as CRAFTSMAN (CMXCAFG190788), Scotts (190803), and Roundup (190789).

What causes this: The power wand sprayer may be clogged, the liquid level may be low, chemical residue may be built up in the tank, or the hose may not be fully seated.

How to fix it:

1. Check the liquid level in the tank. Add liquid if low. See Filling the Sprayer.
2. Clean the sprayer. See Cleaning. If needed, repeat with a warm water and mild detergent mixture. Allow the mixture to sit in the pump for up to 1 hour, then rinse.
3. Disconnect and reconnect both ends of the hose. See Attaching the Hose Assembly to the Tank and Attaching the Hose Assembly to the Power Wand Sprayer.
4. If the power wand sprayer still will not prime, replace the power wand sprayer.
