Hose Leaks at the Tank Connection or Power Wand Sprayer

Modified on Tue, 15 Sep at 6:19 AM

Applies to: 2 Gallon Lithium-ion Power Wand Tank Sprayer. The same sprayer is sold as CRAFTSMAN (CMXCAFG190788), Scotts (190803), and Roundup (190789).

What causes this: The hose may be cracked, swollen, or faulty, or the connection at the tank or power wand sprayer may be damaged.

How to fix it:

  1. Turn the sprayer OFF.
  2. Inspect the hose for cracks, swelling, or obvious damage. If damaged, replace the hose.
  3. Inspect the connection at both ends of the hose for damage.
  4. If the connection at the tank is damaged, replace the hose assembly or the tank.
  5. If the connection at the power wand sprayer is damaged, replace the power wand sprayer.
