Pump Zero Backpack Sprayer Does Not Fully Prime

What causes this: The liquid level is low, chemical residue has built up in the tank or pump, the in-tank filter is missing or damaged and has let debris into the pump, the hose is not fully seated, or the power wand sprayer is clogged.

How to fix it:

1. Check the liquid level in the tank and add liquid if it is low.
2. Disconnect and reconnect both ends of the hose, at the tank and at the power wand sprayer.
3. Check that the in-tank filter is installed, that the mesh is intact, and that it is not clogged.
4. Clean the sprayer. If needed, repeat with warm water and a mild detergent mixture, and let the mixture sit in the pump for up to 1 hour before rinsing.
5. If it still will not prime, replace the power wand sprayer.
