What causes this: Dirt or debris in the shut-off valve, or a damaged O-ring or seal in the shut-off.
How to fix it:
- Clean the shut-off as described in the Maintenance section.
- Manual pump models: service the shut-off as described in the Maintenance section. Electric models: replace the shut-off assembly.
