Power Wand Sprayer Does Not Charge

Applies to: 2 Gallon Lithium-ion Power Wand Tank Sprayer. The same sprayer is sold as CRAFTSMAN (CMXCAFG190788), Scotts (190803), and Roundup (190789).

What causes this: The charger may not be plugged in, the ambient temperature may be out of range, the outlet may be damaged, the battery temperature may be too high (indicated by a continuously blinking red light), or the battery cannot be charged (indicated by alternating red and green lights).

How to fix it:

1. Plug the charger into a known-working outlet. Confirm the outlet supplies power.
2. Move the sprayer to an environment between 40 degrees F (4.5 degrees C) and 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
3. If the outlet is damaged or non-functional, use a different outlet.
4. If a red light continues blinking on the power wand sprayer, the battery is too hot. Allow it to cool.
5. If red and green lights blink alternately, the battery cannot be charged. Replace the power wand sprayer.
