Hose Leaks at the Tank Connection

Modified on Tue, 15 Sep at 6:20 AM

Applies to: FGI 1-gallon, 2-gallon, and 3-gallon Manual Pump Sprayer (Models 186210 Grab & Go and 186568 Estate Premium Lawn Care). Same chassis sold under both brands.

What causes this: The hose barb adapter is not inserted into the tank correctly, the hose nut is loose, or the O-ring is damaged.

How to fix it:

  1. Disconnect the hose from the tank.
  2. Re-insert the hose barb adapter into the tank correctly, making sure it seats fully.
  3. Hand-tighten the hose nut securely, then check by gently pulling on the hose.
  4. Inspect the O-ring for cracks or damage. Replace if needed.
  5. Reconnect and pressurize to confirm the leak is fixed.
