Shut-Off Leaks or Will Not Stop Flow

Applies to: Smith Performance S103EX Stainless Steel Compression Sprayer (Model 190468), acetone compatible

What causes this: Debris or chemical residue may be lodged in the shut-off, or the internal seals may be worn. Acetone can degrade standard seals over time.

How to fix it:

1. Depressurize the tank first.
2. Unscrew and disassemble the shut-off valve.
3. Rinse all parts with clean water and inspect for debris or damage.
4. Replace worn seals using Smith Performance Shut-Off Repair Kit (acetone-compatible Viton seals, Kit #11).
5. Reassemble and test with water.
