What causes this: The tank may be empty, the shut-off or nozzle may be clogged, or the pump may not yet be primed.
How to fix it:
- Check the liquid level in the tank. If empty, refill according to the chemical manufacturer's instructions.
- If the tank has liquid, clean the shut-off assembly. Depressurize first by turning the sprayer OFF and squeezing the shut-off lever until flow stops. Unscrew the hose from the shut-off, clean any debris inside, and reassemble.
- Check the nozzle for clogs. Depressurize, remove and disassemble the nozzle, clean openings with clean water. Do not use sharp tools.
- Allow at least 30 seconds for the pump to prime after turning on.
- If still no spray, the pump may need service.
