Sprayer Only Sprays at Low Pressure

Applies to: Smith Performance S2E-V 2 Gallon Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer (Model 184883-B)

What causes this: The shut-off or nozzle may be partially clogged, or the pump may not be fully primed.

How to fix it:

1. Depressurize the sprayer.
2. Clean the shut-off assembly by removing debris from inside the fitting and filter.
3. Clean the nozzle. Remove and disassemble, rinse openings with clean water.
4. Allow at least 30 seconds for the pump to fully prime after turning on.
5. If low pressure continues, the pump may need service.
