Sprayer Leaks from the Tank

Applies to: Smith Performance S2E-V 2 Gallon Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer (Model 184883-B)

What causes this: The tank cap may not be fully tightened, the cap gasket may be worn, or the tank may be cracked.

How to fix it:

1. Depressurize the sprayer.
2. Check that the tank cap is fully threaded and tight.
3. Inspect the cap gasket for cracks, tears, or missing material. Replace if damaged.
4. Inspect the tank itself for cracks or punctures. A cracked tank must be replaced; do not attempt to repair.
5. Test with clean water before using with chemicals.
