M200EP Sprayer Will Not Build Pressure

Applies to: Smith Performance M200EP Multi-Purpose Acetone Sprayer (Model 190492), acetone compatible

What causes this: The pump cup may be dry or worn, an O-ring may be missing or damaged, or connections may be loose.

How to fix it:

1. Lubricate the pump cup with a few drops of the included silicone oil. Pump several strokes to distribute.
2. Inspect the pump cup for wear or damage. Replace using Smith Performance Pump Repair Kit #12 (acetone-compatible).
3. Check all O-rings at the pump, hose, and shut-off connections. Replace any that are cracked, deformed, or missing.
4. Tighten hose clamps and pump connections.
5. Test by pumping 20 to 25 strokes with the tank about half full of water.
