M200EP Pump Leaks

Applies to: Smith Performance M200EP Multi-Purpose Acetone Sprayer (Model 190492), acetone compatible

What causes this: The pump cup or O-rings may be worn, or the pump barrel may be cracked.

How to fix it:

1. Depressurize the tank by pulling up the pressure relief valve until all air is released.
2. Unscrew the pump from the tank and inspect the pump cup and O-rings.
3. Replace worn parts with Smith Performance Pump Repair Kit #12 (acetone-compatible Viton seals).
4. Inspect the pump barrel for cracks. If cracked, replace the pump.
5. Reassemble and test with water before using acetone or chemicals.
