M200EP Hose Leaks

Applies to: Smith Performance M200EP Multi-Purpose Acetone Sprayer (Model 190492), acetone compatible

What causes this: Hose clamps may be loose, the hose may be cracked or swollen, or the O-ring at the fitting may be worn.

How to fix it:

1. Depressurize the tank first.
2. Tighten hose clamps at both the tank and shut-off ends.
3. Inspect the hose for cracks, swelling, or damage. Replace if needed with an acetone-compatible hose.
4. Replace the O-ring at the hose fitting if worn or missing.
5. Re-test with water before using chemicals.
