Applies to: Smith Performance M200EP Multi-Purpose Acetone Sprayer (Model 190492), acetone compatible
What causes this: Debris or chemical residue may be in the shut-off, or the internal seals may be worn. Acetone can degrade standard seals.
How to fix it:
- Depressurize the tank.
- Unscrew and disassemble the shut-off valve.
- Rinse parts with clean water and inspect for debris or damage.
- Replace worn seals using Smith Performance Shut-Off Repair Kit #12 with acetone-compatible Viton seals.
- Reassemble and test with water.
