Battery Will Not Charge

Applies to: Smith Performance S2E-V 2 Gallon Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer (Model 184883-B)

What causes this: The charger may not be plugged in, the battery may be incorrectly seated, the battery may be too hot or cold, or the battery or charger may be damaged.

How to fix it:

1. Confirm the charger is plugged into a working 120V outlet.
2. Insert the battery fully into the charger until firmly seated.
3. If the battery is hot or cold, allow it to reach room temperature before charging.
4. Inspect the battery and charger contacts for debris. Clean carefully if needed.
5. If the charger LED does not indicate charging, the battery or charger may need replacement. Contact The Fountainhead Group.
